URTES METAL TRADİNG INC. is a privately owned international trading company based in Istanbul, Türkiye, and registered with the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce. Established in 1995, URTES Metal is part of the Urgancılar family business group, whose industrial heritage dates back to 1960.

The Urgancılar family built one of Türkiye’s leading steel pipe fittings manufacturers and maintained its industry leadership for more than five decades. Today, this extensive industrial experience continues through URTES Metal, combining traditional business values with a modern global trading approach.

URTES Metal specializes in the sourcing and supply of industrial raw materials, including aluminum wheel scrap, HMS 1&2 scrap, copper cathodes, and aluminum ingots, serving manufacturers and industrial clients across Türkiye and international markets.

The company is led by İsmail URGANCI, who represents the second generation of a family deeply rooted in industry and international trade. With more than 30 years of experience, he has played a key role in managing manufacturing operations, supply chains, and nationwide distribution networks. His education includes A-Level studies at the prestigious King’s School Bruton in England, followed by higher education in Business and Economics in Oxford.

Throughout his career, Mr. Urgancı successfully managed large-scale industrial operations and a nationwide network of more than 250 distributors, gaining extensive expertise in procurement, logistics, and strategic business development.
